Food -- Quiz= fill in the gaps

Milk 
Milk is more than just a pleasant drink. It is consumed in many   different ways, whether mixed  with breakfast  1) ...................... or taken   in drinks such as coffee, or simply as an ingredient in a cooked dish. Of course, milk is' a very  nutritious food. Because it is an  animal protein, it is an important body-building  food. Moreover, it contains fat and sugar, both of  which provide 2)................. as well as many of the   vitamins our bodies need. Milk is also very rich in  calcium which is a mineral necessary for healthy  teeth and 3)........................ All in all, milk is an excellent     food but because it comes from animals great care   must be taken to ensure that all harmful 4) ...................are removed before it arrives in our homes.

Fish
Some people decide at a very early age  that they do not like fish. This is agreat pity because fish is an excellent  food which is very 5).................. for us. There are many different types of fish, which in turn means many different flavours. Some fish, such as sardines and salmon are known as oily fish. Not surprisingly, they  provide us with useful 6)......................and fats. Other fish,  such as haddock and 7)............. are termed white fish. They contain less fat. but as with all fish, are high  in protein and can also give us some of the  vitamins we need. Fish dishes are often very simple to cook  but care must be taken not to over- cook the fish as  this can quickly destroy the flavour.

Meat 
It is possible to remain   healthy without ever eating  meat Indeed, many people  choose not to eat meat . Meat is a useful part of any diet because it is rich  in animal protein. It is therefore an excellent body-building  food.   2. 1) Milk is often taken in drinks, breakfast cereals or ingredient in a cooked dish.
    2) It contains sugar and fats.
    3) Milk has calcium which is good for Children's teeth and bones.
    4) Fish is an excellent which is necessary our diet.
    5) White fish (sole), shellfish (prawn) and oily fish (sardine)
    6) Fish is high in protein , fats and oils.
    7) Meat should be properly cooked because it helps to kill bacteria’s and improves the taste.
    8) When the meat is an expensive piece it can't be grilled or fried. Cheap meat needs to be cooked slower.
    9) Vegetables contain important vitamins, minerals and fibre.
    10) Root vegetables (potato), pod or pulse vegetables (peas) and green vegetables (lettuce).
    11) I think they dislike fish or veggies because maybe at home they are not included in their diet.
